"Monoprints" on this website refer to unique images generated by printing on paper using a gelatin plate. Image effects are created through a combination of techniques including stamping, stenciling and texturing on the inked, homemade gelatin (a gelatin and glycerin combination which creates a permanent gelatin plate) plate, using acrylic paint.
Texturizing and printing tools include a variety of found objects, hand-carved or hand-designed stamps and stencils, as well as organic objects such as real vegetation.
